Can Business and Organizations Sponsor Students at the Academy
Yes. Businesses and organizations are welcome to support the training of students through sponsorship partnerships with the Academy.
Business and organizational sponsorships are provided to the Academy as a partnership, and are not considered tax receiptable charitable donations. As such, they do not receive charitable tax receipts.
However, many businesses are able to treat sponsorship support as a marketing or promotional expense. Sponsors may receive recognition through Academy communications and events.
Businesses should consult their accountant regarding the deductibility of sponsorship expenses.
